Power Outage, how extensive is it?

I'm posting from Loreto and we haven't had electricity since 10:30 a.m. it is now 6:45 p.m. I'm on a generator using a direcway system right now. Bank has been closed all day businesses have shut down, no gas is pumping either.

I heard it is also out in La Paz and Constitucion. Is this true? Hope it won't last long.

No hay luz todavia

Still no light in Loreto @7:40 p.m. I can see the whole town from my house and the only light visible is the giant Modelo can on the highway. We just got power where we live, in late september and were five years without before that. Still have the generator, feel lucky right now.

A crop duster hit the transmission line between Insurgentes and Constitution. Knocked the landing gear off the plane, and damaged the tower and knocked down the line. The pilot is OK, I hear. Our power in Centro came back on at 7:40.
