ROAD TRIP JUNE18-JULY3

IM EXCITED AND READY TO HEAD DOWN SOUTH AGAIN, COUNTING THE DAYS!!!! I was wondering if anyone is heading down around the same time as far as having a caravan is never a bad idea? Also I have spent quite a few months thru baja down to punta chivato and only as far as Loreto, this year I will be heading all the way down, Looking for any recommendations on places to stop along the way ? Would love any feedback, resteraunts, camp spots, side roads, ect...

thanks

BajaSunshine:

I haven't traveled the peninsula as extensively as most others here. While waiting for appropriate responses to your post, may I suggest a perusal of prior threads/subjects or try using the "Search" option on the purple tool bar above. They hold a plethora of information on ALL the subjects you inquired about.

WELCOME to the forum. There are many positive people here happy to share their experiences with you/me/us. I look forward to your future posts and wish you well on your Baja adventure this summer.

Anytime in Baja is a great time!

Seriously, unless you are made of butter, only August and September are bad on the Cortez Sea side of Baja (IMHO)... as in hot and humid.

Bugdude speaks wisely... use the search here on Nomad... Just enter a subject and leave the name and forum part blank unless you are looking for something very specific.

Welcome aboard!

Thats about the time I'll be heading down to the East Cape. I usually overnight in Loreto, then on to Verdugos.
