Puertecitos--New Years!!!

we got down on about dec. 28 and the weather was awesome, the hot springs were HOT and the campground in town was almost empty so we had our choice of spots...sometimes we camp over at Octavios camp which is the first one you see as you enter town but this time we wanted to spend alot of time in the hot springs so we stayed at the palapas over by the clubhouse...this trip we brought enough bikes so a few of us could wheel south together and it was awesome, for the past 5 or 6 years i've been driving that road i've really wanted to explore it in more detail...the funny thing is we only expored about 5 miles of it south from puertecitos but there was some great little canyons and beaches that were really nice,so maybe next time we'll check out the next 5 miles:lol::lol: spent new years eve at the potluck party(great food) and they even had a band play this year at the basketball courts...people dancing, dogs runnin around, tequila flowing, fights breaking out,all in all it was a great night! it was a great trip and my only regret is not making it to Bajalou's party to meet up with some of you folks!! hopefully next year:yes: didnt get alot of pics this time but heres one that gave me a chuckle:biggrin:

I missed you!! I was the guy sitting in front of the beer truck wearing the black beanie and drinking beer with Naty. Can you believe that the one guy was trying to fight with the whole town it seemed like. I had a great time down there, you should have come over and said hello. My place is at Octavios camp on the far east side by the water. It looks like a little castle. They had great Tamales there and I drank a couple of cups of Companchana(chocolate milk and corn meal?).

The next morning we had New Years breakfast at Emilios house over by the runway. Im heading down again this week to keep working on the house.

Beercan!!!!!!

I saw you land and before I could get my lazy butt over to your house I saw you take off!!

Maybe next time!

GTB,do you remember...

the little blond girl that was dancin down front, that was my kid...we couldnt pry her away from the dance floor so eventually my wife and I had to get out there for a couple of tunes...wish I had known you were there, I would have loved to have checked out your digs...i know that exact beach youre talkin about by Octavios camp because a couple years back my wife and I spent a while just coolin off in the water there on a hot afternoon,as i recall there was some kind of structure in the works there but havent checked it out in a while...anyway I plan on goin down again soon so maybe we'll get a chance to meet up in the future,i'll keep you posted as to our next trip down;D
