Oso or any one

Just wrote a great story for my next book and I want to title it "That's Life" in Spanish--I think that would be "Esa es Vida" but wonder if there would be a better/more interesting usage out there.

It depends on the subject, Esa es Vida would be like living the life, like the good life, Asi es la Vida would be that's life or such is life, Que Vida would be what a life.
I remember that when someone would say "Hay que Vida"(man, what a life) my grandmother would resond, Y tener que vivirla (and to have to live it)

You already have the answer, Bern. I'm pretty sure "Asi es La Vida" is what you want.

BTW, there's a great song performed by the group "Elefante' with that title. If I can find the lyrics, I'll post them.

Asi es la vida

ASI ES LA VIDA

a veces negra, a veces color rosa,
asi? es la vida jacarandosa,
te quita, te ponem, te sube, te baja,
y a veces te lo da...
Asi es la vida de caprichosa,
a veces negra, a veces color rosa,
asi? es la vida jacarandosa,
te quita, te ponem, te sube, te baja,
a veces negra, a veces color rosa,
asi? es la vida jacarandosa,
te quita, te ponem, te sube, te baja,
y a veces te lo da...
Asi es la vida de caprichosa,
a veces negra, a veces color rosa,
asi? es la vida jacarandosa,
te quita, te ponem, te sube, te baja,
y a veces te lo da... (Asi es la vida)
Escuchame negra
(de caprichosa)
Me dejaste esperando
(a veces negra)
(jacarandosa) Ya me estoy desangrando
a veces negra, a veces color rosa,
asi? es la vida jacarandosa,
te quita, te ponem, te sube, te baja,
y a veces te lo da...

Sounds a lot like "La vida Campechana" which refers to life in Campeche but could maybe apply to Baja. The image thus conjured is one of lazy abundance of seafood, tropical fruit etc.
