Buying tires in Baja (cost & availability?)

I have a question regarding buying tires to replace my four trailer tires.

I don't need super-duper tires, only good so that I can tow my boat to the Loreto ramp from its storage and may be occassionally to Puerto Escondido.

The trailer currentlly has 205/75-R15 (quite common in US) and car passenger tires would be fine.

Is it a good plan to buy tires in Ensenada or San Quintin on the way down so I don't have to deal with customs when crossing the border? Would the tires be significantly more expensive than in Calif?

Thanks.

Tires

I get my tires in Rosarito, BFG A/T's and they are about $10.00 more than what I paid at Discount Tire. Same warranty.
I have seen big tire companies right on the main route through Ensenada so that's what I would recommend.
