BAJA 1000 .... 2006


Speaking about races....I read on RACE-DEZERT where someone has posted a pre-run group event for late October....the race goes to La Paz this year.....looks like an interesting trip.....anybody else seen this?.....would you go?...

as done in 2004, SA off road support and travel will hop the race Ensenada to la paz with likely stops at San Quintin, BOLA, Gonzaga, Sand-one neeko for nite TT action.:yes::cool:

Sat noche following race's finish friday, the victory party for DP racing will be repeating itself at my digs en mulege.;D:wow:

San Quintin and Gonzaga??? It would be one or the other on a La Paz run as these both are on opposite sides of the peninsula on north-south roads.

I do hear they are doing the traditional run to La Paz, however.

reasons to stop at san quintin during the race....

1. it's fun, brunch at Ceilito lindo
2. i can
3. others like to too
4. may have to pee before i get to gonzaga!
5. re stock the cooler for the action at gonzaga and/or BOLA!!
6. have 20 hours to kill!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paul and TW - everything is "up in the air"....so to speak... till i get committed compadres signed up.

1st come 1st served but my host teams DP Racing and Ragland Racing have priority. Wives stay home......:(
anyway, all are welcome at mi casa sat noche for the fiesta grande following the race.:yes::D

I don't have any hard plans yet other than following the race and helping where I can. Paul, I can make room to bring your bike back if you need me to. Capt. Mike's fiesta grande offer sounds good too.

where are you guys staying in la paz?
made resies yet?
try la casa jalisco, mui fine and affordable!
i think i'll stay there again if not la perla.
