Ebay auction

I see that the seller has never sold anything on Ebay. That would give a prospective bidder little assurance.
Wow! You get to fly a banner on a piece of debris sailing down the SOC. Big audience! I can see it now!:lol:

I can't understand why you have no written endorsements from him.

Richard must have had many extra bottles of propane to last 4 months grilling seagulls....or plenty of charcoal briquettes. Do seagulls taste like chicken?

Uhh, I don't get it...

Yeah, sailing around in a raft made from junk, sure. I guess, you could save some money.

But on eBay they say they want 15 grand to sponsor the Sea of Cortez leg. For 15 grand, buy a panga, some gas and some Pacificos and get going.

Progress

Given the time period involved in getting to, and then leaving, Percebu, he won't be out of the Sea of Cortez in any of our lifetimes, certainly not his. If anybody wants to give me $15K, I'll sail my Capri to the end of the Sea of Cortez. Let me know.

As far as sailing the Atlantic being a great accomplishment, it has been crossed in a rowboat more than once. The Pacific is another matter.
