baja 500.....ojos negros ?

Story going around is that Baja 500 (and others) will start (and finish) in OJOS NEGROS......too much development around Ensenada to continue running from downtown......

True or false?

It has happened before (due to weather)... But, if I were still racing, that would be a welcome relief... The throngs of fans (?) risking life to be close, building booby traps, and throwing rocks and concrete at you should not be part of the test of man & machine!:light:

They've run the races starting in Ojos many times with only a ceremonial start for the cars in Ensenada in late 80s early 90s. Then they went back to starting everyone in town again. I think starting and finishing in Ojos is a better way to do it.

CODE starts the race to San Felipe from Ojos also.
CODE has a new race this year running from Mexicali to San Felipe and back to Mexicali..
Should be a fun one.
