Trip from Guymas to Santa Rosalia to Mulege

How often does a bus run from Santa Rosalia to Mulege ?
What is the fare ? Is it hard to catch ? We are traveling down from AZ end of March and want to take the ferry over from Guymas and return.

Any tips, quips, suggestions, about any of the above would be appreciated.

How often does the ferry run.? The websites seem to conflict. Is it hard to get a cabin ?

Thanks, Squffy

No bus in Baja is hard to catch! Some of them are hard to keep up with!
Just stand beside the road and give hem a uplifted hand.

Ferry to Sta. Rosalia..and ride to Mulege. I made that ferry trip many times, then on to Mulege. Here's an option. Just make a sign saying Mulege and hitch...use descretion and ride with 'the Johnson's from Iowa'. Tons of Mulege people in Sta. Rosalia every day. I pick up people frequently doing this.

If you are many with luggage, etc. or are not comfortable with hitchhiking, then the bus terminal is a short walk to the left from the ferry terminal (say Hello to Hector at the Ferry office). Like Bruce stated, there are many daily and you won't spend enough to worry about.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

For the ferry information use www.ferrysantarosalia.com, I used it and the phone numbers at Christmas and all was good. Often the people answering the phone in Guaymas also speak english if that is an issue for you. Suerte
