It has been pouring in LA all day. I left SC this morning to come back to this! It was sunny, and mid-70's in SC and warmer inland (low 80's in Hermosillo). Perfect on the water.

36 and raining in the Gorge, WA; might get up to 48 today.

When I left Baja last week I spent my last Baja night at El Pabellon in San Quinton. It was high 60's during the day and maybe 50 at night.

I crossed the border at Tecate where the overnight temperatures were around 25 degrees and I haven't had a night above freezing since then.

Please tell me again why I had to leave !?!?!?

Diver, you are painting a horrible picture for our trip north today... Maybe a day's wait is in order? It's not like we have a schedule.

Are there any other weather reports from El Rosario to the border?

bajaguy....we are just walking over to our Baja neighbor's patio for coffee/brunch. They live stateside at the base of the mountains just a few miles north of Carson City. I will be sure to tell them about all the snow and rain!!

'Supposed to start raining in Salt Lake tonight. We just had 5 beautiful days near 60 degrees. I went kayaking on Thursday, a Bike ride on Friday, a long hike on Saturday, and took my fishing boat out on the Great Salt Lake on Sunday. I wasn't alone, I saw 10 sailboats out there. It was beautiful, but alas it wasn't Baja.

Rain began in Vista/ Oceanside about noon yesterday (Monday)... All night it rained on and off, and it is wet outside as I type this with drizzles on and off.

Another storm is predicted here on Friday/Sat...

12:20pm Tue 2 28 - San Felipe overcast - no rain and very little breeze. 81.5 deg on my patio. What more could one ask for (except sun for my solar panels)

Lou, did San Felipe get any in the last 36 hours?

The south end of Borrego got some; probably about a 1/4 inch..

None as yet - just cloudy a little humid (not bad) warm

But clouds seem a little lower so I moved some stuff in just in case we get some tonight.
