Catastro is the name of the place you pay them. You will probably have to impose on a friend to do it. I am not aware of anyway to pay except going
into the office. He/she will need your tax id number which should be on your papers...probably where someone verified that the taxes were paid and
that there were no liens on the property.
Sorry I dont know where the office is in La Paz but I bet someone does......

We pay ours right in Mulege....not at the county seat of Santa Rosalia.
Right by the post office in the back is a small office...
the girl goes to a old wooden file cabinet...
pulls out our paperwork....
and we pay right there....
Our accountant Salvador can do this in Mulege for "out-of-towners"

I'm sure there is a service in La Paz that would assist.
In Mulege if you pay early in January you get 20% off the price...almost worth the gas money to drive down

Catatastro is in the new Gov. offices behind and across the street from Sorianas.

You've probably paid your taxes by now but just in case not...the office is next to the Police Station in Todos Santos. Same building where you pay
you water bills but on the other end of the building.

I'm confused as usual.
are you wanting to pay property tax or fideicomiso renewal fee? they are 2 different things.

can refer me to a trusted accountant or someone who I can wire the $ to and can pay on my behalf and send/email/fax me the receipt. How do others pay
their property tax if they don't live there? The other thing I could do is plan a trip and tell my husband we have no choice but to go on vacation to
take care of this issue. Thanks! Pacside |
here in Mulege it is true you must pay in the office.
I would think there is some one that can do that for you in that area. that is my business here in Mulege I do it for many people. maybe some other
Nomads from there can give us some input.
your last option sounds like a good one, nice excuse for a vacation.
