Driving to Cabo
I will be driving a jeep wrangler. (small gas tank) I would like to drive it in twoo days but three if need be. How about tips for hotels , gas ect.

Are you driving from San Felipe or from San Diego? Or someplace else? You must be planning a highway trip if you want to do it in two days?

He could be coming from Timbuktu or ....Fargo? From Fargo it is going to take you 7 hard days driving and 2 days playing Texas Hold-em in
Mesquite,NV.

Sorry sanfelipebob...couldn't resist.
For your trip south to Cabo....You should plan on topping off at every station you see open these days. (The Pemex Police are out and about! Some
stations could be shut down for various reasons.)
Good places to stay mid-way on your trip would be: El Rosario - (BajaCactusMotel).....Geurrero Negro - couple good places there....Mulege -
many...and last, Loreto where you will find many also. Good luck and have a safe trip.

You can do it in two days, but if you take three you may see the scenery. Spend a night in El Rosario or Catavina (La Pinta-- a bit pricy but
pleasant). Another night in Muege or Loreto (Iguana Inn if you can get a room-- make up forthe price of La Pinta!) Take the three days and you won't
have to spend your first day there recovering from the sheer terror of speeding down the highway!

It is a safe 25 hour driving time trip from the border to Cabo. How you personally drive is your concern...but, a nice 3 day trip is relaxing.

If you spend the night in Catavina, El Rosario, or Guerrero Negro you'll never make it in two days. Get to Mulege the first day and stay at La
Serinidad. Should take you about 13 hours to get there. Get a room with a fireplace. You should be able to make the rest the trip the next day.

It takes me 14 hours to Santa Rosalia.
Maybe cause there are so many more speedbumps now

Baja Road Driving times......
I regulary make the trip from Tecate to Coyote Bay...a road distance of 650 miles. It takes me an average of 12 driving hours when solo... with my
wife it's 14.
My all-time fastest driving time was a few years ago when I drove down a 750 Vulcan motorcycle..going WAY too fast! 11 hours. Thee fastest time I
ever personally knew was a guy on a Ninja who came to visit my old BMW buddy, Jake, on the hill behind us. That Ninja rider did the trip in 10 hours.
NO THANKS! Pucker-factor would be too great.
My advice...go slow, see the sights, live long.

Martyman...it was our old volleyball net.... and believe it or not, I did that stunt on purpose. Kind of scorched my calf a little bit, though.
