Any Rain??
Wondering if anyone knows how much rain (if any) the El Rosario and south to Catavina area has gotten during this wet (for So. Cal.) March?
Starting to think about wild flowers...Nothing like last year I'm sure, but still wondering..

two/three weeks ago when we passed thru there was no sign of rain (puddles) south of san q. the guys we camped near said there had only been a partial
day of rain all winter near the southern end of the sisters.
the only thing blooming was the ocotillo. oh, and these little gems were starting (foto from last year).

The rain
that passed through LA fell on us @ the Old Mill Wednesday. It started about 4:00AM and was over by 9:00 AM. We then headed to El Rosario and they had
not received any. There were puddles most of the way up to Ensenada on Thursday. Rob

Rain
I stayed overnight at Kim's Museo a week ago in El Rosario and there was a little sprinkle overnight.. hardly what you would call rain..but coming up
from Baja Sur it was way more than I had seen or heard in months.
Locals were saying it was a terribly cold winter for El Rosario even a bity of ice on the wet spots.
A couple of days later I had the pleasure...NOT!!!...of driving through L.A., and over the Grapevine on (my way home to Canada) through that record
rainfall..WHEW!!! Now that was stressful.!! There was an awful car/truck accident right near the crest of the grapevine....I'm sure there must have
been fatalities!! A horrible thing to see, sure made me slow down and take notice though.
Now it's back to work for another six months before I see Baja again!! Whaaaaa!!!!
