New Toyota FJ Cruiser--------

---------just arrived in the showrooms, at least up here in N. California. It is a good looking beast, and worth taking a look at. About 7K cheaper than a Hummer H3, and probably more reliable, based on past Toyota's reliability records.

The price Range looks like about 25k to 35K, off the top of my head. Our dealer does not have any brochures, as yet. The have 4 "FJ's" and 3 are already sold, within 5 days.

Fun, fun!!!!

Ugg-leeee-----does not compute------

--------when you are looking for a competant 4x4. Surely nobody thinks that a "jeep" is purty??? or a "hummer"?

"good looking" is not a valid criteria to judge by, it seems to me---------------bisides I think it is really "cool" looking.

Any idea how the size compares to a Ford Explorer ??
We were looking at a crew cab Tacoma for my wife but maybe this would work better ?? She's had an Explorer for years.

Looks like another one for small people !

What are the ones in the back seat supposed to do when the Diver and front passenger are over 6' tall ?

Maybe thay should make a "tall" version ??
Wait, that would be an Explorer !
Although I do wish the could put a Toyota engine in the things, I've replaced two motors in 13 years of Explorers.

Based on the curb weight it must not be too small or there is a lot of steel in it. As to price the MSRP for chevy/GMC 4x4 extra cab is mid 30s depending on what you want in it. My 04 GMC had a MSRP of $34,500. Paid $26,500 plus tax and license. Total out the door was $28,700 or there abouts.
