Goofy Kid Seeks Sweet Left Point

Going down to Scorpion Bay with my son for two weeks in late June. We know our way around pretty well, but could use a little info if anyone can help. My kid's a goofy footer and really prefers to go left on a mellow wave with warm water. Seems like rights are everywhere down there. Fewer lefts.

Can anybody let me know about a left point south of Turtle Bay? We have 4x4 and are self contained, remote is okay.

Thanks, Tom

How warm is "warm water" ? The area you mentioned will be between 62? (if there's been wind) and 68 or so at the warmest. I was measuring 72? in to August last year- not bad, but chilly with the afternoon wind.

If your son's young enough he probably won't notice though.

Can't help you with the Left thing.

68 Huh? I figured (hoped) it would break 70. Well its still warm when compared to San Diego the last few months. We'll bring our neoprene. We could always drive a few more hours south.... I guess Costa Ricas a little to far?

I am counting the hours.

Thanks for the information!
