Rosarito Beach landing strip...

Does anyone have a photo of the old Rosarito Beach Hotel landing strip of the 50's? I'd love to see what the strip looked like back then.

From Airports of Baja California c1969 by Arnold Senterfitt.
In an update I received in '72 or '74, I x'ed out the airport as it was closed.

Interesting that they paved a runway parallel to the beach, right in front of the hotel. Sort of a crosswind runway, eh Capt. Mike?

There were landing strips all over Baja... 200+ before the ditching of them because of their use by drug runners.

Although I am not a pilot, I got Arnold's book for the aerial photos.
