Vehicle title needed?

I am towing down a 30' travel trailer. I am awaiting clear title which should follow in a couple of weeks. I have a temporary 90 day conditional use permit and a bill of sale. Is this enough? or will I need the title?

More to this thread. If the trailer were not registered to you, but "on-loan" from a friend what would be required?

Whenever I have taken a trailer, vehicle or motorcycle that wasn't registered to me, into Baja, I got a signed permission slip from the registered owner. :light:

Just like a hall pass in school!!

Good luck,
Corky:lol:

Right! -I meant to delete one of the double posts and they both disappeared. AZ also has no Fish and Game Dept. It's "Game and Fish". Traffic signs don't say "Reduce speed ahead", they say "Reduced speed ahead" Also, we don't have no steenking Daylight Savings Time. Why? Because it's Arizona!

Unless you are a relative, that won't work on the mainland for sure (so I doubt it is valid in Baja either). It is not reconized by the Feds. and will get you in hot water fast if stopped by someone going by the book. There is an exception for close family members.

A notarized letter of permission from the registered owner is the best route to take. It is a little extra work to get it done, but well worth the effort to avoid any hassles.
