"CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER" says the sign at EcoMundo campground (Mulege)

An FYI - A sign on a chain blocking the entrance to EcoMundo campground on Bahia Concepcion, near Mulege, reads CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER. It went up today. You may want to revamp your summer camping plans to stay elsewhere.

An indicator that eco-camping has a very limited and likely dimisnishing audience.

When I talked to Greg and Tracy the end of March they said they were going back to the states in the summer for a couple of months. So don't hit the panic switch with alot of rumors

EcoMundo closing...a tiny update

I feel sorry now that my original posting was not more specific...Greg and Tracy stopped by to say goodbye today. They are gone for good. There were several issues they could not live with while running EcoMundo. It will not be me who gets into all that here. One that could not be overlooked was being told by a local realitor that EcoMundo was now up for sale. I will say this- they left EcoMundo neat, clean and vastly improved for their 18 month stay. Good luck Greg and Tracy
