coco

This may have been discussed before but I have been away from te board for awhile. I was told that Coco of Coco's Corner fame has died. Is this true? Last time I say him it looked like his last good leg was going to fall off but his health seemed ok and the beer was cold. Anybody know?

I'm sure we would have heard (in a "Nomad minute") if this was true. There has been nothing on the board.

My friend MIke just went back north two days ago and stopped at Coco's corner and had a cervesa with Coco. So the rumors of his death have been greatly exaerated. Actually, Mike told me that he was doing well and that he was being treated so as to save his other leg.

Good news all the way around, the guy is a baja legend. I would love to hear some stories of his earlier days.

Thanks all
