RV Camping Ensenada

Is the trailer/rv park still in business in Ensenada? I would like to spend the month of August in or near Ensenada. Would Punta Banda area be better? I need hookups. I have a very small trailer. I would appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Thanks
Okiegumbo

Go for the Punta Banda area - quieter than Ensenada. There are a few places here. I can get you names and phone numbers if you'd like.

My favorite is Estero Beach, about 8 miles south of Ensenada. All trailer, RV spaces have ocean view and hookups. Go to Esterobeachresort.com

The link for esterobeachresort.com is not right -- use www.hotelesterobeach.com and click on RV Park on the left hand side.

well, it sounded right! Anyway, for the asker of this question, I checked out the website and daily rates for Estero our high, high, high! More like first class accomodations for an RV - plan on $30 a NIGHT. So to the Okiegumbo we strongly recommend heading to Cantu/Punta Banda. There's a lovely place between Maneadero and Cantu (just before Punta Banda/La Jolla) called El Refugio. I think you can get in there for under 200 US a month. We call it "the castle". Nice place right on the lagoon. Appears to have all the hookups AND INTERNET!

Yes, I agree with you on the high prices at Estero. The ammenities offered there are significant tho. They have a laundry in the RV area, great restuarant, boating, fishing, water-skiing,and it is really clean, and very secure. Also shopping for anything is just a hop and a skip up the hill, including fish tacos and carnitas! However, if Okiegumbo wants to be a bit more cost efficient I would suggest El Refugio also. They have internet????:wow:
