Tacos de Maneadero

Wish I knew the name of this place, greatest tacos on the carreterra, according to a truck driver who was in line with us.
It is located about a third of the way through town, West side, at the first stop light on the upper part of town, across the street from an auto parts store with bright yellow signs.
(is that close enough)
Oh yeah, and crowded with truck drivers and folks who seem to know a good carne asada, or rez taco when they taste it.
Just an open type stand (not a cart) but really good, really busy, really inexpensive.... like less than a buck a taco.
Highly recommended!
Not sure Maneadero has any other elegant dining, we did not see it, but this is just as good.

Tacos al Poblano, a bit further south and across the street (and with another branch on the east side of the street around the bend at the south end of town), also rocks. Ate there two Saturdays ago.

In Maneadero there is at least one "sit down" restaurant, Cafe Jalisco, which we go to about once a week. Here's the link to the thread: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=14512
Always excellent food.

I believe you are talking about El Recreo. It is on the West side right after the road narrows down to two lanes. It's our favorite.
