Travel (driving) over Independence day weekend ?

I just realized that we are planning to drive North from Baja Sur on Independence day weekend (Sept 16 & 17). Should we rethink this plan ? (Big celebrations, parades, highway closed etc?)

I don't recall ever traveling during this holiday and don't know if we'd regret attemping the drive back to Cali.

Gracias.

If you are traveling through any towns in the morning you will be part of a parade;D

but that wont slow you much. I would not change your plans.
