Thanks vgabndo,
I sure there are smoke free places in Todos Santos, but cannot confirm. Never been an issue. Now I will pay attention.

Just remembered another
The front section of Lenny's Deli, located across the street from City Club, in San Lucas is smoke-free; the back is not.
I might add that if you are in need of a deli fix in Los Cabos, this is definitely the place. They bake their own breads and have quite an extensive menu with other items, such as some Mexican dishes. I also have to admit that their pastrami sandwich is not as good as Dave's but he is too far away for me to pop in for my fix.

ok to smoke?

i asked the owner of tiny "antojitos la molienda" just east off calle primera on alvarado (if that's the street the flag's on). she quickly replied, "yes, of course." and i said, "oh that's too bad, as we're creating a list of non smoking restaurants in baja california." and she, of course, asked if i wanted to smoke and when i said no and that i was allergic, she quickly chimed in with, "well of course, people hardly ever smoke here."

it's a delightful, clean, tiny restaurant (maybe 8 tables in all) with prices for antojitos (e.g. four delicious beef burritos accompanied by salad and refried beans) in the 30-50 peso range. everything prepared on the spot and lovingly. freshest ingredients. in all the times i've been there (more than 20:) there has never been anyone smoking. for that matter, there's never been another customer in my presence. but i tend to go there for my enchilada fix at about 11:30 or 12. a little too early for most:bounce:

buen provecho.
