Petes Camp in San Felipe

Does anyone know anything about Pete's Camp? Or other places to camp in San Felipe. I have only a tent, not an RV, and don't want to camp on pavement. Any suggestions would be welcome. Petes has availability over Christams when I will be there, but am not ready to confirm yet.....Thank you

Stayed at Pete's about 3yrs. ago.....It's about 7miles north of town....huge beach, plenty of room for tents, hot showers, laundry, restaurant, bar......very friendly place, just be warned, it is popular with the off-road types, which can be alot of fun, just be warned though, it can also be very noisy....all depends on what you are looking for.

Petes Camp

Yes, Pete's Camp has camping on the beach but it will be VERY full at Xmas time and as has been said already Very Nioisey lots of ATV's there! But if you don't mida that it wuill likly be fun place!
There are many other tent camping places tho also! Some on the beach some not! Most on the beach! Both north & south of San Felipe.
Be aware tho most places have no security!
