Bimbo bread & milk
What's the secret ingredient that Mexico puts in Bimbo bread to make it last for--e--ver and why can't they do the same thing with milk?
Seriously, take care where/when you buy your dairy products. Large markets are usually OK but most small stores don't practice proper refrigeration.
The locals know what day the dairy delivers and that's when they buy their milk.
When buying eggs take a small container filled with water. If they float...Pass.

tlhere is a new Bimbo bread out and believe it or not, it's really good...best bread I've found in Baja....it's a smaller loaf and has a bunch of
different grains in it like oat, bran, and most important is the Linaza...there is another grainy type that looks the same but doesn't have Linaza
(flax seed). Look for the Linaza on the package and try it!

One thing I always pack for my trips to BCS is a couple of loaves of good sourdough bread. My local friends love it!
