Launching Ramp functional in Mulege?
My brother in law has been planning a trip all year. Wants to launch his trailerable trimaran at Mulege. Is there a functional ramp anywhere? How
about between S. Rosalia and Mulege? Thanks for any advice.

Santa Rosalia is fine...I looked
They just got the road open to the ramp in Mulege today but that road is tough for big boats even at good times
You could just launch at the beach at Naranjos...
I have with my 24 footer

Thanks a lot, I'll pass that along to him. Also thanks for all you are doing to help in Mulege. It was nice to get your mug shots and know who's
posts I was reading.

The local TJ Station is donating a truck to haul supplies to Mulege...
He's a GREAT guy to set this up

Boat launch
Vagabundo,
There was a pretty solid dirt ramp at San Lucas Cove, about eight miles south of Santa Rosalia. Right across from San Marcos Island. Perhaps some
one can give currect status. Good Luck, RRC

Hi Bob and Susan:
These guys are "trailer sailers" they will launch at one of your recommendations, sail to Loreto, pick up a third guy and sail on to La Paz. They
have set up some kind of a shuttle. Sort of like river rafting. They've done this a couple times before.
Thanks for your help.

How much does your bros trailer sailer draw?
For the typical trailerable sailboat, I'm not sure I'd launch anywhere along the river in Mulege. Who knows how the configuration of the mouth is now
and how much silt has been deposited?

fined 30,000 pesos .

It is a trailerable trimaran. Very shallow draft.

Very odd development with the disallowing of boating in that area. What could possibly be the thinking there? Less chance of dengue on the water.
Personally, I'd launch at San Lucas Cove if the increased distance from Loreto is not an issue. Plenty of room for the setup and it is close to the
pavement. With that shallow draft, you could launch at anything short of a minus tide.
Pretty ballsy bro, to be trying this in the hurricane season. Has he got SSB or a weather fax? Typically, he will be traveling into the wind at this
time of year.

Hook,
Where did you read that no boating is allowed? Bruce was relaying Health Dept. edict regarding fishing.
