That post is classic!

And there is absolutely no way that the author is not a regular visitor to the Nomads site. Some of the stuff is right out of here.

Thanks, Grover.

"Even the former mayor, owner of the Rosarito Beach Hotel and the head of the Rosarito Beach real estate association lost his license to sell real estate over this.

If you are a legal resident (even a gringo with an FM3) you can sell real estate- no schooling, no license, no exam, just pay the fee and you're a local professional with the right to stick a magnetic sign on your minivan and go into business scamming and overcharging your fellow americans."

Exactly how does one go about losing a license that doesn't exist?

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

By the way Bernie ---

With all due respect, and I mean that, isn't your permissive attitude toward unlawfullness a bit out of charachter for one who did a career in law enforcement?

Dennis-Everything stays in Baja!

PS not sure about that enema thing--I used to drink enough so that I didn't have to worry about such things.
Speaking of my past duties--that I swore to uphold--there were others in the world who enjoyed that sort of thing.
Now, I wonder should we get back to Baja?

No, Bernie, I dont think we are being watched, if you mean in the context of this board. I think we are all small potatoes in our jibes or support of the current administration.

At least, I sure HOPE they are spending their time going after more legitimate threats. By they, I mean NSA/CIA type elements in our country. Is that what you mean?

Personally, I would never do anything that could even remotely be considered treasonable........well, unless the current administration declares contrary opinions on foreign policy as a treasonable activity. Bush hasn't asked for that yet, has he?

As much as it goes against my libertarian leanings, I support giving spooks quite a bit of power. It's become a necessary evil. The innocent have nothing to fear. But I believe everyone, even "military combatants", must have their day in court. Anything else is contrary to the principles we are supposed to be fighting for.

Secular and non-secular thoughts have got to co-exist in this world. And I welcome them in any discussion here. I'm just not sure they can in the presidency, at least not by the sacred teachings I was exposed to.

BTW, I should add that I did not see whatever transpired after my last September 11 replies to Bill and Skeet. It was gone when I checked back. It was deep-sixed, wasn't it?

I don't know--I was just speculating on what Mr. Bill has been posting.

Rosarito beach is great! It keeps all the drunk American teenagers out of playas de tijuana and gives the young mexican guys many opportunities for gringa fun. Glad it's there.
