Baja Pirates Fishing Fleet @ La Paz
Has any one heard of these guys.
I did a search and came up with no results.
Running ads in WON. Looking for first hand info, good or bad.
Thanks,
Charlie

I fished with them once, many years ago. About the same as the other panga operations, at the time. Dont know if Francisco is still running it. They
were running boats from the La Paz side as well as the Cerralvo side. They were honest about which side was doing better and gave you the option.
I've also fished with Tailhunter's and Davey Jones and had good experiences with both of them.
It seems like its hard to go wrong with an outfit out of La Paz.

I have no first-hand info.
I fished with Tailhunter in July and had a first-rate time.

I wonder
when will La Paz have flybridge fishing available? I know there are a couple of boats that advertise- but they don't seem constant presences in La
Paz. Is it the lack of steady tourist business, lack of promotion of the fishing, inadequate marina facilities? Any ideas??

It is not for lack of harbor facilities. La Paz has a great natural harbor with marinas.
It may be that they just do not advertise.
Eco-tourism is also big there. Whale watching, diving, snorkeling etc.
There is an incredible place off the north tip of Isla Ispiritu Santo called Los Islotes that has some great snorkeling.
Thanks for your replies, Nomads!

I have no personal experience with Baja Pirates.
I fish with David Jones "Fishermens Fleet" David does the whole deal, hotel, breakfast, transportation, pangas, filleting, vacuum packing and
freezing. He's very easy, especially if you stay at Hotel Los Arcos. (He's right next door) Los Arcos was on strike when we were there in June, no
biggie, David got us alternate digs.
