alaskabazaar...I am a cabinetmaker interested in anything to do with wood. My interest has little to do with Baja, because there is little wood in Baja. For years I had hoped to teach woodworking when I retire. That was before Baja. Now I hope to teach woodworking 4 month a year here in California. Pole turning is Heavy Mill work and you need both Wood and a long bed lathe. There may be a lathe in Baja, not sure. Most poles I have seen are rough Hewan and there should be a saying, "What is, is." Fine turned poles may not be accepted???
Let us know how it turns out. I Like I said, I am interested in Wood.

Maybe I could stop in in March and check out you collection. Bowl turning is a real art.
