Satellite radio (Sirius) in Baja: YES!!!!!!!
This thread showed up a year ago (thanks Comitan) and thought it would be worth singing the praises of sat radio again.
I've had service a year and it's changed my life. No commercials, solid music.
Channel 10 (was Bruce Springstein) now The Who. 24/7. Geeze.
Channel 13: Elvis.
Doesn't get any cooler than that.
US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

Sat radio is great! I have XM Satelite in my truck, and it worked all the way to Cabo! Also, through DirecTV they have XM as the music channels
replacing Music Choice. I have the satelite wired through my stereo so we have great tunes all day.
Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Dont forget MLB on XM. No more listening to the weak, scratchy ESPN Radio affiliate in LA anymore.
Go A's !!!!! Or Tigers !!!!!
Actually, I'm just glad to see the Yankees ousted...........

Hey Lou and Meme, can you have multiple receivers without paying multiple subscriptions? I thought you were charged per receiver?
...or is this a "we could tell you but we'd have to kill you" scenario?

Two of my vehicles have XM, I pay for both. But then, mine are built in. Some setups you can move from the vehicle to the house or boom box. I think
it's about $10 for the first and $7 for the second or more. You can have 4 recievers on one bill maximum. I pay a year in advance but no discount,
just avoiding a monthly bill.

I have a portable Sirius receiver that I can take from house, to car, to boat, to camping - the Sportster model. The only restriction is that you
need an FM radio at these locations to tap into plus ac or dc power. There is only one subscription fee. However, if you want or need a second
receiver it is charged at only $6.95 per month.

Sorry to say "Yes" you must pay for both recievers! I think the first one s now like $12.99 and second one $6.99 I also pay for them by the year, just
no fuss getting bills is easier.

Sirius was about that price a year ago. Sirius "life member" charge was about $300, I think, and I figured I'd pay for that in 2-3 years so I became
a life member. $75.00 charge if I replace my receiver with another one. What a deal.
