Now that is unusal...I have seen the plant often, but did not know it had that beautiful flower

What a trip nature is! I've never seen that bloom. Great find, ditto the photo. Where did you take that shot?

BEAUTIFUL, didn't know that they can have such amazing flowers - although I know this species!! Got a similar ( but in a pot ) that grows taller then this one, never had flowers !

As I recall, that plant is pollinated by flies--the coloring and striation of the flower looks like rotting flesh and in some of the species the flowers put out a pretty stinky odor as well.
