PS.... We had an inspection of a boat out of Juncalito, with 2- conk shells and a spear gun... Boat confiscated..

The fisheries guys seem more active in Loreto now. I've seen them checking boats at the marina, and coming in from patrol.

I tried to renew the fishing permit for my kayak today. No such luck; I'll have to wait a few days for new instructions on how small craft without documentation (title and registration) can get licensed. Maybe Wednesday.

Times are changing, and perhaps it might be a good idea to rethink or research activities like clamming. And I wonder, what about squid?
