Jerry - look at the upper right hand corner of your internet page. There are 3 boxes - the center one shows two boxes, one behind the other. Click on this box. I think this will fix your problem.

Might need the Windows Magnifier - if it's installed:

Otherwise, change the display resolution???:

Jerry, this may sound silly, but do you wear glasses? A pair of drugstore reading glasses for magnification may help while you solve the technical problem.

Should be lots of 'em kicking around Loreto. I have 25 pair or so myself. Totally dependent.

Jerry,
We're here for the winter, spring, and most of the summer. U2U when you get here, and we'll all get together.

Jerry, go to the drug store and get +300 reading glasses. What a difference it makes.... Bob H

This might help. Try adjusting your screen resolution. On the Start taskbar go to Settings, then Control Panel, then Display. Click on the Settings button and slide the Screen Resolution to the middle (1280x800). Then click Apply and then OK.

To make the contents on your desktop appear larger, you'll want to decrease the screen resolution. 1280x1024 is pretty high, instead, go the other direction and set it to 800x600 pixels.

If you still prefer the fonts/text to be larger even still, go to the bar at the top of your browser when on BajaNomad or any other page. Click on "VIEW", then "TEXT", then change the font size from there to a larger size.

In the FireFox browser, hitting "CTRL +" instantly increases font size about 50% each time. If you aren't already using FireFox, that feature alone is worth the switch.

Hot damn Larry!! Thanks!!!! That is much easier on these old eyes! You going to tell the secret code to undo that? Or is it a session thingee? Does it only affect the session I do it in & only for that log-on? Or what? Or you going to make me dig myself out? :?:;D Oh wait!! Could it be CRTL - ?? It is!! :bounce::bounce:

Foxfire is a web browser, similar to Internet Explorer but with more safety and lots of neat features, like automatic spell check etc. Has lots of add ons and plug ins to let you customize your internet usage. Colored tabs, tab previews - tons of them. Free from

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/central/

Been using it for a couple years ? and great.

Jerry,

I did not know about the Control+ trick but this might also work.

At the top of your screen it should say:

File Edit View Favorites Tools Help

Click on View and a drop down box will open up.

Click on text size and another box will open showing:

Largest Larger Medium Smaller Smallest

One of these will have a dot next to it showing which setting is currently being used. If you would like it larger or smaller, just click on which one you would like.

I hope this works for you as well! ;)

Big John's suggestions should work out for you, but I set the size for most of the pages at one that's acceptable and still find a page now and then that's small and use the Control + for that one.
