Can anyone tell me about the parking here? I've emailed these folks and gotten no response. I have concerns about parking anywhere that isn't
fenced or guarded.
How about noise from the road?

Lee...they have good secure parking. I have parked my truck there many times and never lost a moments' sleep worrying about it or it's contents.
There is a walled-in area that is easily visible from the full-time night desk.
I am a light sleeper...but, a little deaf. Which is a good combination, right? Just joking...I think the road noise from the jake-brakers has been
cut down considerably. The desk will try to assign you a quiet room.

Cameras cover all the motel grounds and the gas station too... Antonio or his dad watch them from Tijuana when they are not in El Rosario...
No worries...

If it's busy (and you're late), and there are a lot of people already there - parked - you may need to do one of two things:
A) Park out of sight of the desk (but still behind the wall), or..
B) Request if you can park behind the vehicles closest to the desk and ask that they wake you to move your vehicle when/if needed for the person
you're parked behind.
As far as road noise... they've installed speed bumps along that stretch of road so that the trucks are going too slow (typically) to use their
exhaust ("Jake") brakes.
And when you said "truck" - you didn't clarify if you meant a Toyota pickup, a rig with a trailer, or something in-between.
If it's a longer rig/RV, I saw them recently allow people to pull into the (fenced) lot on the side of the motel building by the entrance (opposite
side from the Pemex).

To clarify my post above about the security web cameras, when I say Antonio or his dad watch them from Tijuana... I am telling you that they can and
do whenever they want... not 24/7. They have lives afterall... but just like any security camera system, the recording of what's happening at the gas
station and motel is a deterent as with all camera systems.
You people need to use common sense and good judgement when traveling anywhere, including Mexico.
As Doug said, there is parking in the area behind the white wall/gate that will be future motel rooms and parking area for large rigs.
Besides the cameras, the night clerk (Manuel or whoever) makes rounds in the parking area which is not wide open to the highway, but through an
entryway plus there are surveilance TV monitors inside the motel office the staff can monitor when not walking the grounds.
I have stayed there dozens of times and nothing in back of my pickup has ever been touched.

I should mention that we have also stayed in at the Mt. Sinah? motel with no problems either, plus the one right next to Mama Espinoza's roadside
cafe. I believe they all have good security. We have stayed in a 32th Wheel at the RV park further south in town with nary a tremor all night long.

Mama Espinozas
I got cheaper (and better) meals in Mama Leonis in the theatre district of Manhattan....
Had a buddy tell me, "get the lobster omelet, it's a good deal". Holy crap, a wheelbarrow full of pesos....
all the motels in that town pretty secure. I stay (when we do) at Antonios.

Plenty of eating places in El Rosario... mostly very good. Mama Espinoza's IS the tourist place. You almost have to go in there to see the Baja 1000
and 500 stuff, etc. The breakfasts there are very good and reasonable (not including lobster omlettes mind you)...
Overall, we like Ed Lusk's place at the far end of town for breakfast and dinner: 'Baja's Best Bed & Breakfast' & Restaurant (with the
Starbucks' logo on the outside)...
Other great places also can be found in town... Check them out...

One of the favorite meals I have had in El Rosario over the last 3 decades was a buffet at the bus stop cafe. Truly delicious. Give it a try. I
think the name is El Grullense, but not positive about that...I just recognize it on the left as you make the turn from the Pemex headed south. Lots
of open space to park a big rig.

That's #16 on my map... We had a late lunch there of some spicy chicken and beef stews/ soups... It was tasty and the cold Tecates helped cool my
tongue!
