First Dive of 2007

These were taken today in Morro Bay. Tell me when you guys get tired of these :)

Can you find the decorator crab in this photo? Hint - he's just to the left of the little nudibranch:

Great pics and I'm very jealous...there’s 4 feet of snow here at the moment and I've resorted to sticking my damn face into my aquarium.
Keep the pics coming.... my fish will appreciate it

mike I know a lab can do it, and I am pretty sure it can be done on regular inkjet printers with transparency paper/film. I googled "transparencies" and came up with tons of stuff, apparently the transparency paper/film is available up to 13x19 in stock sizes. Maybe someone who knows about this can chime in. ++Ken++

Get tired of 'em, Ken? Apparently you are unaware that I've become a Bondy underwater photo junkie. ;D:dudette:

That first anemone - it's like one of my hybrid sunflowers come alive. And those strawberry lollipop anemones - so festive. Thanks once again, Ken, for starting my day with such beauty.

I very much appreciate everyone's nice comments. I always get a little hesitant about posting pictures here that are not from Baja, but as long as nobody has a problem with it (and I don't get busted by Doug :) ) I will keep putting them up. Thanks again, ++Ken++

Ken, Awesome photos. I don't dive but am chomping at the bit to go snorkelling end Jan - early Feb. What type of camera do you use? I've used a sealled bag for my camera, but it's difficult to use. Hope to find a case for either my D70 or Koolpix5000.
Keep on taking those fantastic pictures.
Thanks

Bajalover - I use a Fuji S2 Pro DSLR in a Subal housing. For these photos I used two Nikon SB105 strobes. Ikelite makes an excellent housing for the D70, that is an excellent setup for underwater photography. ++Ken++

The underwater shots could just as well have been taken in baja as the species and habitats are similar to the northern part of the peninsula.
