New Beach House for rent in lovely Bahia Asucnion

We are happy to announce the completion of our new luxury beach house in Bahia Asuncion. My husband Juan is putting the finishing touches on his creation...the stone walls are amazing...he's a true artist! It is a modern 2 bedroom, rock face, tiled bungalow right on the beach with a view of the bay. Sleep to the sound of waves and shore birds and it's a short walk to the stores and half a block from a palapa restaurant. The house is fully equiped with hot shower, full kitchen and dining room with new appliances, all the bells and whistles including DVD and boogie and surf boards. Just bring your bathing suits! There are two queen size beds and a futon/bed couch as well. There is laundry and maid service available as well as meals can be ordered and delivered.
Rates start at $75 a night/couple with a 2 night minimum. Extra people $15 each. Fly in visitors welcome and we can pick you up at the air strip. You will love our quiet friendly village where you can fish, surf, snorkel, dive, beachcomb, horseback ride, hike, fossil hunt and learn some spanish! This is REAL mexico...kinda like the old days.

Muchas Gracias Farasha....we're working on getting a website together now with all the pics of inside and out...stay tuned. This was just our coming out announcement! We still have to put the stone front patio on and finish some small details in the next couple of weeks but thought I'd let everyone know that we are now taking reservations. We're really excited about it and happy that we can now accomodate folks who don't want to tinkle in an outhouse!

When people see this, and it seems as though word is getting out, you will need to book far in advance. Good for you Shari and Juan. I can't wait to visit.:bounce:

I can hardly wait to see the completed beach house in person. I saw it in progress (Shari & I changed into bathing suits before hitting the beach one day) and I welcomed the opportunity to pee in a bathroom instead of an outhouse (yes, I'm a bit girly in that regard). This is a beautiful little house, and the beach is a stone's throw away. Hmmm...maybe I need to take unpaid educational leave to go and learn more Spanish before my next scheduled vacation. (Note to self: Must develop that thought.)

thank so much...we are pretty excited and also bought the lot behind this place where we plan to put in a few RV spots and build a nice bathroom, shower house and a rock clubhouse. This is our 2007 project to keep us from drinking to much tecate! Cheers NOmads

I've thought about doing the same with my place in Abreojos, Shari! I would love to get out of Cabo and be living the way I like down here. Good luck to you.

Congrats Shari.
It is a very comfortable house with all the amenities. I think it is the best house in town. The location is amazing. The tree and surrounding hedge provide nice shade in the mid day. The mocking bird is feeding its nestling now and it is wonderful to hear it's singing. I think it mimicked my "oh sh.." when I banged my leg on our steps getting out of our motor home. I really think I heard this.

Congrats again Shari.

Shari...the new 'digs' looks real cozy....

...I assume there's no extra charge for any of the overnight 'shakers' or 'rumbles' from the 'Lava Gods' that have been bothering you, the last couple of months...

Maybe you could run a promotion..." come and enjoy the vibrating bed, and you don't have to feed it any quarters!"

Seriously though, haven't heard much lately about your 'Whole lot of shaking goin' on' down there...assume things have quieted down for now.

Congrats on the new place!

but i can't imagine how much you need to charge for this fantasy.:?:

Okay, anyone interested in flying to Shari's from San Diego? I think we can go nostop to Guerro and clear customs there. I think about 3 hours. About $200 a piece based on shared aircraft expense for 4 people.
We could stop at San Felipe to break the trip up a little. I don't think it would add much time to the trip.
It could be a good 3 or 4 day weekend trip.
U2U if interested.

fishbuck..........when was the last time you flew baja? you can't do an AOE entry at Guerro negro - and they no longer have fuel for GA there, only military.
you'll have to clear in to baja at MMES, MMSF, TJ or MMLT. Watch your gas depending on what you're flying or unless you have auto gas STC, or plan on adding boost to premium and burning it off low.

well, have a good one. let us know how it goes and when. maybe we can get a few aero planes together and have a nomadian fly-in at Ascuncion.
