What happened in 1974?
You went back and the walls had collapsed? THe 1959 and up photos show rocks stacked below the floor grade. Was this retrofitted or was that a rock
footer? Thanks.

The '74 and the '75 photos are taken from different sides of the mission.
The '74, '00, '04 pictures were taken southeast of the site, looking northwest.
The '75 photo and the '04 with Baja Angel are taken west of the mission looking east.
I will go back and edit with direction of shot...

Photos are all back amigos!
Let's appreciate these sites no matter what their condition as they are the birthplace of many of the communities in Baja... What brought the first
Mexicans to the peninsula from the mainland.
On the other side of the history story, they are also responsible for the end of the native population...

Photo attributed to Espinoza-1969
Anita Espinosa of Rosario gave me the photo of San Fernando Mission ruins in 1975, the one David listed as Espinoza-1969? As I recall, she told me it
had been taken in 1969, hence the date.
