7 sisters
I,m heading down to the sisters later this week, I haven't been down there in 4 years, anyone have any info on any changes? Will go to the wall unless
there is a lot of swell, then will head north. I'm going solo for the first time, always have had a friend or two, any warnings on going solo? Any
info will help, thanks

Going solo--if you're a skilled driver with 4x4 you'll probably be okay...the chalk dust pits can get bad and salt flats can be mistaken for being
passable so if you get stuck you won't have anyone to help with the digging. Also helps to have a navigator--roads are sometimes not where their
supposed to be. It being January, if it rains much you'll probably have to stay put until the roads dry out...if it rains even more roads will wash
out in places since they often go up arroyos though those chances are usually remote...but check the weather before heading out.

ditto what mexitron said. howeverr, it sounds like you will be hangin' in the souther part where it's a little more "civilized".i wouldn't worry about
going solo if hanging between the wall and diablo.will most likel;y bump into another camper or two. any furhter north of that, well, as mexitron
referred to, it can be can be sketchy and challenging, if not ill advised, if alone...

How about a translation for the non surfers?
We all know Scorpion Bay is San Juanico, and the 'Seven Sisiters' are the points between El Rosario and Guerrero Negro (Possible these and/ or others:
Punta Canoas, Punta Blanca, Punta Cono, Punta Maria, Punta Diablo, Punta Prieta, Punta Santa Rosalillita).
What is 'The Wall' (which point?)?
This is one stretch of coastline I am still looking forward to seeing! "So much Baja, so little time!"

Come on...it's right off the road!
OK...you first go through "the town", then head up a slight uphill and hug the south side of a "the wide dry river bed" for a bit...twisty turney,
then you leave "the wide dry river bed" and take a reasonably sharp left turn next to a guard rail and , first looking in your rearview mirrow, tou
slow way the hell down and make a sharp right turn onto the dirt. You then head back north through a slight valley (actually between 2 hills) towards
the sea, where you pick up "the main dirt road". It then opens up a bit, and you will soon find yourself on the beach looking at something that once
could have been called "the wall". You'll also see all sorts of flimsy handmade structures that try to serve as a wind break. Don't let that fool
you...it's always sunny and calm there.
There, you now know where the wall is....I just can't make it any clearer or easier than that!!

name is altamira and the place sucks for camping. campo be preperd to pay for camping anyware along that streach up to diablo. was just there late
dec. on a easy road. good luck.

Thanks, I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon and will stay at our house in campo lopez and head south around 4am Thrusday. Big swell coming Friday, but
don't tell anyone.

You will be amazed at some of the rock structures that are there. There is a neat arch that someone built. Someone with alot of time. There was a
larger one that has come down.

3 weeks ago some guys camping next to use told of a trip to the wall and a gang of aussies were doing the firewater dance trying to tear the arch
down.....wankers, the lot of 'em.
