Hotels in La Paz

I've stayed at the Crown Plaza and the Fiesta Inn but want to try something different. Cost is not a problem but security is. I need a room where they have a in room security box and something close to Jesse's restaurant. Im only going to be there one night but want something NICE!

Any suggestions. Also does Jesse's restaurant close on any given day?

Los Cabanas de Los Arcos-----

just across the street to the north of the Los Arcos Hotel, and across (east) from the little triangular park on the Melecon. It is owned by the Los Arcos Hotel.

Reasonable, beautiful, in-room safes, and trememdous ambience, within walking distance of downtown restaurants (not sure of location of "jesse's" restaurant, but think that it is close by.)

Can recommend Los Arcos also. I haven't stayed at the Cabanas, but the Hotel is great.

Fenced parking for cars also. Would be tight for RV's though.

In the Lobby there is great location for enjoying a drink on a rocking chair while overlooking the Malecon.
