great pics Don, thanks,

Jessie, your olfactory bulb is obviously over developed from sniffing those fine wines you carry. Did you know that Docs used to check for diabetes by tasting urine. Too sweet, you had it. Don't that make you happy you stayed with cooking?

I enjoyed Carnaval, and I was impressed by the lack of drunkenness and the fact that whole families were out to see the colorful parade, play the games, and wear silly hats. But then we only stayed out until 9pm or so, and maybe things got crazier as the night wore on:tumble:.

Jesse, the other enjoyable thing we did this trip was dinner at Tres Virgenes. The pork loin with guava sauce was a great dish, and the camote puree a perfect compliment to it. And Don's ribeye was excellent.
