La Purisima questions.
Gonna be in Loreto next week! Will rent a vehicle and see as much of the Loreto-Mulege etc. area as possible. Would a visit to La Purisima
taking the east road route be doable? Any hotels in La Purisima? Looking foreward to meeting some Nomads along the way.

I motorcycled the La Purisima/Hwy 1 east road in December. It was very rough and if it has not been graded you would need a high clearance vehicle
with low gearing. 4wd probably not essential but there are sections where it would help. When I was there the road had not been worked on since the
Sept. hurricane and the Baja 1000 messed it up even more.

That's what I heard too
Take the extra time and pop up to San Ignacio. You would not be disappointed. The drive is a nice one.

Sharks. Thanks for the reply. Will save the La Purisima visit for another
time. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to trust a rental vehicle over bad
roads.
