Here is a picture of a cement truck about to fill up with cement. Notice what is on top of the equipment. That's right it's an Osprey's nest. This rig would vibrate like crazy and the cement would drop down into the mixer.








Here you can just make out the osprey head.

It was taken in Feb 2007 on the bluff overlooking Santa Rosalillita. I'll post some pics soon of the Escalera Nautica project they were working on.

Jeez, that is an amazing nest! Polka dot bikini, plastic trash bags to scare away the intruders and what looks like some kind of rope That appears to be attached to the tubing of the rig!! Man, those birds worked hard to build that nest! One could only hope... But how would one move an Osprey nest? ??:O

THAT is a great Photo - I love it!!
Maybe the Osprey likes the shaking? They are not that stupid, I guess he knew exactly why he build the nest there!?
