Hotel in SD with secure trailer parking

Driving to San Diego the 16th to start a 9 day Baja trip and need a place to stay. Will have 2 vehicles both towing boats.
Looking for a reasonably priced hotel that has lighted parking that can handle trailers.
Anybody have a referral?

Thanks in advance.

There is a hotel in Mission Valley west on Hotel Circle South that can handle your rigs. I've seen Thunderboat Truck/trailer combos parked there as well as Baja race rigs many times. Dont know the name of it off hand but will be driving right by it in the morning and will post the name mid morning for you.

Mission Valley Resort Hotel is the name. Saw a truck/trailer combo this morning at 5:30 a.m. heading to Baja for the 250.

Probably not the cheapest place to stay, but it does have a large secure parking lot. I noticed several other Hotels in the area with truck/trailer combos also.

Do a search for Hotel Circle San Diego for more hotels. It's a good area and less than 20 miles to the border.

I always stay in that Motel 6 just before the border in San Ysidro:
http://www.motel6.com/reservations/motel_detail.asp?MotelId=...

I've rolled in there with up to a large 22' center console and never had any trouble at all. It's one mile from the border and the insurance/fishing license place is just down the street. There is some other budget motel right next door that looks nice, but I always forget to get a number so I can make a reservation on the way.
