A family of Ospreys. I waited quite awhile for Dad to come back with a snack for the 3 babies in that nest. Note the fish in Daddy's claws.

Ken,

What is incredible about these photo's is that they are perched on a parking lot light pole. Cars are zooming by on the street below. These nests are all over Guerrero Negro. What a site to see such a magnificent bird so comfortable in an urban setting. A must see for all Nomads driving through. This nest is about 2 blocks past the Pemex.

Awesome pics. We were there in Feb. and only saw nest building and egg sitting. Great to see these gorgeous birds down there in such huge numbers. Here in Iowa they are building towers by the lakes and putting chicks in them. They feed them until they fledge and hopefully come back to nest.
