EL CAMINO REAL, from Space! (Santa Gertrudis to San Ignacio, East Route)

There was an east and west El Camino Real between San Ignacio and Santa Gertrudis... and other detour routes, as well.

The first link is where the ECR is visible where it clears out from the low resolution photography...

Remember that with these links, it takes you to one point on the old trail... use you mouse to 'fly over' the trail and follow it along.

Those new to Google Maps Satellite:

Click the link above, Enlarge the new window,

click on 'Link to this page' (right above the image) to enlarge the image,

click on the left arrow on the left center side of the image (to make the image as large as possible).

Hold down the left key on your mouse and drag the mouse on your pad to move around Baja. You can also click on the up/down/left/right arrows to move about.

Slide the scale bar to zoom in or out, or use the roller wheel on your mouse. The closest zoom position will not work, but the second one or further out does.
