Conception Bay Beaches...Before, During, and After Easter

I thought it might be interesting to see some photo comparisons...so here goes the first few.

(Hey, it's been too windy to fish!)

This was a week ago at Cocos beach (just south of Posada...)

You're killing me. It's been rainy and way too cold here for the last four months.
The cove looks beautiful, even if the crowds are excessive.

I don't see any extra porta potties in those pictures. What ends up happening with that? I wonder what the Mexicans think about the crowds. Would they feel disappointed if there was a low turnout? Are there live bands and organized party activities such as tug-a-war and other games? Are gingos welcome to join in?

I just recently found out (through a Mexicano) that if the beaches being camped on are closed off by foreigners (federal lease) then they use those properties as Porta-Potties.

can ya blame em? I can't.

Coyote camping beach today...

...getting closer to maximum capacity. The good smell of campfire smoke is in the air. Sounds like this year's cherry bombs are slightly more powerful!

Still not quite enough noise to scare away this egret...

I had this guy for company while having coffee on the patio this morning. All in all, this Easter seems unusually calm compared to other years.

Shore was quiet last week around Mulege, even with the tourney. Nice serene photo.

Hey I love that time lapse photography! Too cool. Thanks for posting those.

Hey...Burros Beach is popular, too!

Somehow, in all the commotion and traffic, I managed to overlook Burros Beach this Easter.

The Tecate tent is going up as you read this.....
