Where Are Your Favorite remote places in Baja

As my husband and I always like to find remote, out of the way places, I was wondering if fellow nomads would mind sharing their remote places.

We tent camp when we go anywhere and are self sufficent. I'm also a strong beleiver of bring back whatever you took with you, and then some. I have been known to pick up other people's garbage!!

If you don't want the information to be general knowldge feel free to U2U me, I promise not to destroy your piece of paradice, or let other people know.;D

Where do I begin???

Heck, just go to VivaBaja.com and look at them. I was not the first person there and Baja Nomads are good people who appreciate the peninsula and all it has to offer!

If I had to pick ONE remote favorite place, it would be MISION SANTA MARIA

As a new kid on the Baja, there are so many places to see. My first-ever adventure was Sept '06, as my internet search indicated Baja might be ideal for my retirement location.

I drove to La Paz with stops and stays that require my revisiting for in-depth exploration. Chose Ensenada area and renting while house is being built.

My former location in Denver is threatened with another spring snowstorm. The ocean is looking quite lovely from my perch today.

Agree with Diver. Mystery and surprise is indigenous to Baja. SSSHHHHHH!

Agua Verde and our secret camp spot a little south of Los Chorros south of Asuncion. I'll show you when you're here...it's the only place you can camp out of the westerlies and run naked!

Running naked is a must, as simon use to say "clothing is optional" He is getting a bit more shy about running around naked now, but I still think his philosophy is correct!!

2nd favorite remote place in Baja...

The boulder desert area near Catavina is inspiring. I love the diversity of cactus...and some very rare ones.

Bring a small powerboat 22' to 25' that you have a cabin to sleep in. Have room for fishing , diving, equipment etc. enough range (fuel capacity) for 2 or 3 hundred miles, launch midway down and you will be able to tuck into some of the most beautiful spot s on earth.( and remote)
