anyone ever been asked to pop the top during military or other inspection in Baja??

Yes, I have been asked to open my "wildernest" twice. Since then I carry a photo of what is looks like opened and that has been good enough since.

The wildernest has a zipped closed area which holds the "tent" part and I guess looked suspicious? They never seemed real impressed by how it worked as much as what was inside the zippered area.
Now they open the back window, point to the area, I show photo, I continue down the road.
