Baja California from an 1823 map

These two maps are sections of a much larger 1823 map from the Biblioteca del Congreso, that covers Sonora and the Californias.

It amazes me that Bahia San Luis (Gonzaga) is shown and Bahia Concepcion, too (overly sized)... but Bahia de los Angeles is not??

Thanks for posting the maps Robert!

wonderful old maps, Robert-----------many thanks for posting, and I too (like David) am amazed that they missed plotting Bahia de los Angeles-------it must have been off the routes of commerce for the missions, tho you would think it was a natural supply place for San Borja. (not sure of my dates vis-a-vis the map)
