Try Coralejo "anejo". Its a red tequila and not overly expensive. Mighty tasty and very smooth.

Gran Centenario Aņejo for shots... any 'reposado' for mixed drinks.
Los Abuelos Aņejo, Plato and Repesado were all good.
Many people like Tres Generations (eng sp?) and Cien Aņos...
Come to the Pyramid Resort Tequila tasting and see what is this year's pick!

No tequila has given more of a bad name to the liquor than Jose Cuervo Gold.
Invariably, when I talk to people who have sworn off tequila for life, it has been from a bad experience with Cuervo Gold. Not that excess on their
part didnt figure in to it, of course.
Side by side test almost ANY tequila against Cuervo Gold and you will generally chose the other one.

My favorite tequilla had a little hat attached to it, sort of a mini sombrero.
It's probably still on the market, I'm sticking with cerveza.

Uh...no.
Rested tequilas do best neat, straight out of the freezer.

The only requirement for love or chorizo is confidence.

Give them the stuff with the beehive on the label. they won't know the difference. A good alternative: Bacanora con Squirt.

I don't have the courage to try the beehive stuff, but at 19 pesos per bottle it would probably make an excellent paint remover.
